Married

Well Almut and I got married on the 2nd of December. I am now married to a beautiful woman and am enjoying married life a lot. We are now on honeymoon in New Zealand!

Thanks to all who have helped us get this far! We have been greatly blessed by all your support!

Legally married in Mosbach

We found the legal requirement for weddings in the Czech Republic too complicated so we got married in Germany. We are still having the church wedding on the 2nd of December though! Posted by Picasa

Wedding planner

We have decided to use a wedding planner. Although we could have organised this ourselves, we think that it actually saves us a lot of time getting this help. We met the wedding planner in Prague at a church service we went to and she is very helpful. Click here for information about her business.

Word to the wise. If you are getting married in another country check as soon as possible what documents you need. I have just realised last week that I need more documents and that they are quite difficult to get...

Exchanging money in the Czech Republic

Two suggestions for exchanging money in the Czech Republic:
  1. Always check the rate that the place is offering before you hand over your money.
  2. Change your money in a bank (like ČSOB)
Almut and I know to our regret that you can lose money when exchanging if you don't follow these two suggestions...
